Eva Dominiak and Musical Journeys Academy invite you to the next concert in the Family Concert Series, “Secrets of the Music Box.”
This time, we’ll step into Musicland, where for an entire week around Halloween something truly extraordinary takes place – the Annual Masquerade Ball of Magical Creatures!
Only once a year, in the Enchanted Forest by the Crystal Lake, fairies and gnomes, Baba Yaga and her sisters with their cats, young sorcerers, and wise old witches gather to show off their musical talents and have some real fun!
The host of the concert – a musical reporter – will be broadcasting live from the Masquerade, sharing her field notes about the magical creatures, their habits, and their unusual musical tastes.
Each piece is a little story about a fairy-tale being – a musical portrait of one of the ball’s enchanted guests, painted in sound.
Performed by students and teachers of Musical Journeys Academy.
Come meet the magical creatures and enjoy the festive spirit of Halloween!
Concert duration: 1 hour 15 minutes, without intermission
For children aged 5 and up, and adults
